Bilingual Education Academy (BEA)

BEA fills the need for English language acquisition among people whose primary language is Spanish. Bilingual Education Academy provides structured, organized, and culturally appropriate courses, explained in their primary language and presented in a bilingual format. 
Bilingual Education Academy designs, develops, implements, and evaluates bilingual educational products, including Online (synchronous and asynchronous), self-tutorial (Web-based, CD-ROM, DVD), and in-person courses and training. Besides, BEA offers translation services from English to Spanish and vice versa.

Educational technology 

  • We design, develop and host e-Learning courses for job readiness, continuing education, and professional development in person and online.
  • We also provide consulting services in curriculum development, design, implementation, and evaluation of educational programs.
  • In addition, we offer training in e-Learning technology and the production of audiovisual media (audio, photography, illustration, and digital video).


Community Education

We offer second language courses, including English and Spanish as second language courses.
We train educators and other professionals in adult education methodologies, including andragogy, student-centered methods, project-based teaching methodology, and participatory learning.

Personal & Professional Development

We offer personal and professional development training to community leaders, teachers, university professors, and community-based organizations, in areas including, but not limited to, workforce development, education, e-learning (production and implementation), and community leadership.

Dr. German Cutz

Dr. German Cutz was the founder of Bilingual Education Academy. He is an expert educator/trainer with over twenty-five years in workforce development and continuing education and ten years of administrative work in higher education institutions. His field experience includes assessing training needs, developing, implementing, and evaluating workforce development and continuing education programs. Dr. Cutz's expertise includes but is not limited to agriculture, education, business and entrepreneurship, educational technology, leadership, and environmental protection. He holds a doctoral degree in Adult and Community Education, master's degrees in Natural Resources and Environmental Management, Adult and Community Education, Higher Education, and an undergraduate degree in Business Administration. He is also an agronomist.

Sandra J. Cutz 

Sandra is the co-founder and Executive Director of Bilingual Education Academy. She works on curriculum development, Spanish language grammar, and content relevancy and appropriateness. She is a middle school teacher who graduated from the San Carlos University of Guatemala. Before coming to the United States, he worked in Guatemala for the Chiquimuljá Savings and Loans Cooperative, the Technical Training Institute (INTECAP), a leading training institute for youth and adults. She also worked for the Experiment for International Living, an international training project from World Learning Inc. (Vermont, USA). Sandra was an Experiential Learning facilitator who trained schoolteachers, cooperative organizations' managers and staff, and bilingual teachers. When she moved to Indiana, United States, she taught Spanish as a second language to children and worked with migrant workers' children to help them succeed in school.

Sandra Cristina Ali

As we usually name her, Cristina advises Bilingual Education Academy's (BEA) management on marketing strategies, social media campaigns, and graphic design.
Cristina currently works for Chipotle Mexican Grill as an Analyst, Gift Cards, and Brand Experience. She manages third-party, in-store, and online gift cards. In addition, she is responsible for executing digital campaigns and increasing the program's revenue year over year.
Cristina's expertise with the Hispanic/Latino audiences in the United States provides a solid marketing foundation to BEA. Her passion is building campaigns that target multicultural audiences. She holds a master's degree in Organizational and multicultural communications focusing on Latino Media and a bachelor's degree in Social Psychology.

German F. Cutz

German is a computer science professional who graduated from Governors State University, Illinois, USA. He is passionate about computers and advises us on computer software and hardware options. German is very creative and likes to get down to business when it comes to using technological devices. In addition, he assists the Bilingual Education Academy with audio sound, graphic design, and computer programming.
German currently works for Premier International as a data migration consultant offering solutions for clients looking to transfer data from any legacy system to a modern data solution.

Leticia Cutz

Leticia is a chemist who graduated from the University of Connecticut, USA. She is a detail-oriented and dedicated professional who advises Bilingual Education Academy (BEA) on articulating the English language, sentence structure, and day-to-day use. Leticia has worked for Nufarm, an herbicide manufacturing company. Exicure, a biotech company that develops gene regulating drugs, and Blueair, a water purification and air filtration company. Her background in quality control, quality assurance, and quantitative/qualitative research benefit BEA in developing a program that uses the most accurate pronunciation and appropriate English language, especially science-related terms. Leticia also helps to record the English language version of several programs.
